Flower of Devotion

The Most Holy Virgin said to the venerable Mary of Jesus:

“If a man can help himself by human means, he should not expect miracles and avoid work in the hope that God will miraculously help him. The Divine Majesty helps by ordinary and suitable means. And manual labor is the proper means for the body, soul, so far as it is able, to serve the Lord, to offer sacrifices and to gain merit. A creature endowed with reason can also praise and worship God in spirit and in truth while working.
