Flower of Devotion

The Lord once said to St. Gertrude:
“It is one of the qualities which the happiness of Heaven exalts above all the false goods of the earth, that the human spirit, no matter how hard it tries to represent to itself the joys promised to My elect, will never be able to conceive of the fullness which I will excessively bestow upon them.”
