The Most Holy Virgin Love said to the venerable Mary of Jesus:

People are obliged to remember the value they should see in their souls, for which I have done so much and continue to do so every day, since my Most Holy Son redeemed it with His Passion and Death. Indifference to the salvation of the soul in men deserves the highest blame and the most terrible punishment. What reason can a person with faith have for seeking the transient pleasures of the senses, which sometimes last only a few moments, or at any rate no longer than life on earth? For his soul, which will live forever, he feels no more respect and does no more for it, as if he were to put an end to visible things?
Nor do they remember that when all that is insignificant has passed, the soul will either suffer or enjoy happiness, which will last forever and never end. In view of this perversity of men, do not wonder that the dragon of hell still possesses such power over the world to this day. In a constant struggle, the victor is always stronger to the extent that the vanquished loses strength. This is especially true in the fierce and constant battle that Christians wage against evil spirits. For if souls defeat Satan, they draw new strength from this victory over him, and Satan loses its power. This is what happened when My Son fought him, and I crushed his head as a result. And when this serpent feels himself victorious over the soul, he raises his head proudly, draws from the weakness of his adversaries all the advantages he can get, acquires new courage, and has all the greater power over souls. So it is with Lucifer in the world today, and it is
for this one reason that vanity lovers have voluntarily submitted to him and follow his banner for the deceptive promises he gives them. The more souls Satan devours, the more insatiable is his hunger and the more violent is his desire to plunge the entire human race into the abyss of hell.
