Flower of Devotion

The Most Holy Virgin Love said to the venerable Mary of Jesus:
“From Adam’s sin the sensual, earthly life reigns over the souls of those who give themselves to him; The bonds of the lusts of the flesh are strong, and the struggle and passions are continual. Pleasure pleases the senses and blinds them easily; Virtue, on the other hand, is more concealed, and therefore it is more difficult for man to know it. All this together makes the pilgrimage of this life fraught with dangers and difficulties, and its end uncertain.
