Flower of Devotion

The Most Holy Virgin Love said to the venerable Mary of Jesus:
“Among the dangers that threaten human infirmity, there is one that comes from the concupiscence of the flesh. Editor’s note.,) and at the same time he dwells in the interior, hence by this enemy a great many human souls perish for the grace of God. The simplest and surest means of gaining victory over it is to lead a life of bitterness and suffering, to give the senses neither peace nor pleasure, and to watch over them lest they desire or demand anything more that is necessary and not contrary to reason. The second means is to try to please God more and more and to reach the goal that man should achieve.
