The Blessed Virgin Mary said to the venerable Mary of Jesus:
“As the Holy Gospel tells us (John 5:27), the eternal Father has given to His and My Only Begotten the power to judge and condemn the rejected on the day of judgment. And it was quite right, not only that on that day all those who were judged and guilty might see that the Supreme Judge had condemned them according to the will and justice of God, but also that at that moment they might also see and know His Most Holy Humanity, by which they had been redeemed, and thus see in Him all the offenses and sufferings. which the Lord Jesus bore to save them from hell. For all these things will be revealed to them by the Lord Jesus Himself, the Judge who will judge them. And since they will be unable to say anything in their acquittal and defence, this shame will be the beginning of their eternal torment, which they have deserved by their obstinate ingratitude. Thus, at the Last Judgment, the most benevolent mercy by which they were redeemed, in all its greatness, will be revealed, but also the reasons why, according to the justice of God, they went to damnation.
