On one occasion St. Mechtilde asked the Lord Jesus: “What is the use of a book containing her revelations?” The Savior said to her,
All who seek me with faithful hearts will find joy in it, those who love me will be more kindled in my love, and those who are sad will find comfort in it.”

Prayer of the Most Holy Virgin Love for a dying person

Venerable Mary of Jesus writes in her apparitions that the Most Holy Virgin Love, while living on earth, because of the death of her mother, St. Anne, prayed the following prayer:

Invisible, eternal God, King of the times of the world, immortal, almighty Lord, Creator of the universe!
Though I am dust and ashes (Gen. 18:27), and I confess that I have not merited the pleasing of Thy Majesty, yet I desire to speak with my Lord and to open my heart to Him (Psalm 61:9) in confidence, O God, that thou wilt not despise her who has confessed Thy Name for all time. Grant, O my God, that Thy handmaid die in peace, who with unshakable faith and full hope desired to do Thy holy will. Victorious over her enemies, let her come to the sure harbor of Thy chosen saints! May your mighty hand strengthen it. At the end of her mortal pilgrimage, may she be aided by the same right hand that made her paths perfect! She has always sincerely sought Your favor and friendship; so let him, O my Father, rest forever in Thy grace and in Thy friendship!
