On one occasion St. Mechtilde asked the Lord Jesus: “What is the use of a book containing her revelations?” The Savior said to her,
All who seek me with faithful hearts will find joy in it, those who love me will be more kindled in my love, and those who are sad will find comfort in it.”

Homage of the Holy Magi

Venerable Mary of Jesus describes in her apparitions the adoration of the Magi in the following words:

Among those who had the good fortune to be able to pay divine homage to the newborn Son of God in Bethlehem were the holy three Kings. On the night of the graces of the full Nativity they were instructed in this mystery by the light of heaven, and resolved to go at once to Judea to worship their Saviour and Redeemer. They also followed this wonderful light and came first to Jerusalem and then to Bethlehem; to the cave where the Nativity of the Lord was fulfilled. A star stood over the cave, lowered, and, decreasing continually, slipped into the cave and hung over the head of the Child Jesus, bathing Him with its light. Then she disappeared. The Lord had already informed the Blessed Virgin of the arrival of the Kings; so when she heard that they were approaching the cave, she told St. Joseph not to depart from her side.
Holding the Divine Child in her arms, Mary awaited the pious Kings. The modesty and charm of the Mother of God cannot be described; with all her humility and with all her poverty, her superhuman majesty was visible, and her face shone with a heavenly splendour. In a much higher degree the same thing could be seen in the Divine Child: from Him came such a luminous splendor that the whole cave was transformed into Heaven.
When the Three Kings ascended, they were for some time greatly awe-gazed by the sight of the Child and the Mother. They fell to the ground and paid Divine homage to the Child. At the same time, they recognized Him as true God and true Man, and as the Redeemer of the human race. Through the sight and presence of the sweetest Child, Jesus and His divine power were once again enlightened. And they saw a multitude of heavenly spirits, who, trembling with reverence, were like servants of the great King of kings and Lord of lords. Then they stood up and congratulated their Queen and our Queen on having become the Mother of the Son of the eternal Father. They also worshipped her by falling on their knees before her.
The three Kings spent the night in the city of Bethlehem itself. Early the next morning they returned to the cave of the nativity to offer to the King of Heaven the sacrifices they had brought with them. Falling to the ground, they paid divine homage to the Son of God in the deepest humility, opened what the Gospel tells us, opened their treasures and offered him gold, frankincense and myrrh.
The Blessed Mother accepted the offerings of the Kings and gave them on their behalf to the Child Jesus. The Divine Child showed by the kindness of His countenance that He accepted these gifts. And He gave His blessing to the Kings in such a way that they could know that His blessing would be their hundredth reward for the gifts offered to Him.
As a farewell, the Kings prayed to the Blessed Virgin very fervently that she would never forget them. They also asked St. Joseph for the same. After receiving the blessing of Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph, they bade farewell so tenderly that it seemed as if they had left their hearts turned into tears and sighs in that place.
In order not to return to Herod in Jerusalem, they took a different path, following the warning they had received from the angel in a dream. And so they were immediately led out of Bethlehem on another road, and again by a star that appeared to them for that purpose and led them to the place where they had met. From there each of them returned to his own land.
