Flower of Devotion

From the apparitions of St. Bridget:

Blessed be Your Name, My Son, without end; together with Your Divinity, which is beginningless and without end! There are three qualities in Your Deity: might, wisdom, and strength. Your power is like a brightly burning fire, before which everything, however strong and enduring it may be, seems like dry straw. Your wisdom is like the sea, which cannot be exhausted for its greatness, and which, when it rises and overflows, covers valleys and mountains. Neither can Thy wisdom be conceived or examined. How wisely Thou hast created Man and placed him above all Thy creatures! How wisely thou hast divided the fowls in the air, the four-footed beasts in the earth, the fish in the water; and you have given each one your time and your order! How wonderfully you give and take away the lives of all! How wisely do you give wisdom to the little ones and take it away from the proud! Your power is like the light of the sun that shines through Heaven and fills the earth with its light. Thus it saturates and fills Your power at the top as well as at the bottom of all things. Therefore, be blessed, My Son, who are My God and My Lord!
