Flower of Devotion

On one occasion the Lord appeared to St. Mechtilde in a robe sprinkled with Blood and said to her:
“As My Humanity, all drenched in Blood in ineffable love, offered Itself as a sacrifice on the altar of the Cross to God the Father, in the same tender love I stand constantly before the heavenly Father and offer for sinners all kinds of My sufferings, and this is My greatest desire. that the sinner, through true repentance, may repent and live.”
