When St. Gertrude wished to know what prayer was most pleasing to the Mother of God on this solemn day, the Blessed Virgin Love told her that all those who, throughout the whole octave of the feast of her Annunciation, in remembrance of those days in which the Lord Jesus developed and grew in her blessed life, would devoutly recite forty-five Hail Love every day, would do her the same service. as if they were present with her from the moment of her conception of the Son of God until his birth, and rendered her the most important services. And just as she would not have refused them any request, neither could she have left their requests unanswered in this case.
