Flower of Devotion

From the apparitions of St. Bridget:
O Mary, Mother and Virgin of all virgins, you rightly bear the name of the Dawn that illuminated Christ, the true Sun. But do I call you the Dawn of the morning because of your royal origin, or because of your wealth and your glory? Not at all! But they rightly call you the Dawn of the Morning because of your humility, for the enlightenment of your faith, for your special vow of chastity. For you are the one who announced and brought forth the true sun, you are the joy of the righteous, the conqueror of Satan, the consolation of sinners. That is why I beg you to make me persevere in the love of your Son. Amen.
