Flower of Devotion

The Blessed Virgin Mary once said to St. Bridget:

“No one is so great a sinner that I should not be ready to come to him at once, as a mother comes to her son, embraces him, and says, “What do you want, my son?” But he must say in his heart that My Son, the Creator and Redeemer of all, is his dearest and most affectionate. Though such a sinner deserve the greatest punishment of hell, but if he has the will not to care for the honors of the world, nor for the lusts and lusts of the flesh, which are detestable to My Son, and if he desires only his own salvation, then I will soon reconcile him to Us.
