The Blessed Mother said to St. Bridget:
“I am the virgin into whose life it pleased the Son of God to descend with His divinity and the Holy Spirit, to the exclusion of all impious carnal lust.” And this Son of God was born from My closed womb with the Divinity and with Humanity and the Holy Spirit, to My greatest joy, without any pain for Me. I also stood next to His Cross when, with true patience, He conquered hell victoriously and opened Heaven with the Blood of His Heart. I was also on the mountain when this Son of God, who is also My Son, ascended into Heaven. I also came to know most intimately the whole Catholic faith, which my Son preached and taught to all who desire to come to Heaven.
Now I stand above the world unceasingly in prayer to my precious Son, like a rainbow above the clouds of Heaven, which seems to bend down to the earth and touch it with its ends. Underneath this rainbow I understand myself. For I bend down to the inhabitants of the earth and touch them all by my unceasing prayer, which I offer for both good and bad people. I ask the good to persevere in what the Holy Church commands them; On the other hand, I pray for the wicked that they may not increase in their malice and become worse.
