Flower of Devotion

On one occasion the Lord said to St. Mechtilda:

“Go first to the most pure Heart of My Virgin Mother and seek to wash in it, namely, by giving thanks to Her for her noblest fidelity, by which she has remained united to Me above all her works in all her works.” Do the same in every heart of all the other saints, by adoring their virtues and humbly imitating them as much as possible. Thus you will come to associate with them in eternal bliss.
