Flower of Devotion

The Lord God revealed to St. Gertrude the following:
“All good things, whatever are in man, the Sacrament which unites with God elevates and ennobles. At the hour of death, after receiving the same Living Bread, all deeds which were done with a pure intention, such as patiently enduring sufferings, eating, drinking, etc., give occasion for greater merits, inasmuch as they are united to the Body of Jesus Christ, as it were, infinitely multiply.”
