Flower of Devotion

The Lord Jesus once said to Saint Bridget:
Listen to what authority I have given to priests before angels and men.
First, the power to loose and bind on earth and in Heaven.
Secondly, I gave them the power to turn My greatest enemy into a friend, to turn Satan into an angel (This is about the sacrament of penance. – Publisher’s note)
Thirdly, I have given them authority to declare My words.
Fourthly, I gave them the power to bless and sanctify My Body, which no one among the angels can do.
Fifthly, I gave them the power to touch My Body with their fingers, which no other creature is allowed to do.
